Safety Analysis
I have recently been performing statistical inference on a variety of
trucking industry safety measures that are routinely compiled by the U.S. Department of Transportation. Using multiple comparison procedures I determine
which segments of the trucking industry (e.g. passenger transport or household
goods transport) are the most and least safe in terms of several key measures,
such as fatal accident rates, and safety inspection non-compliance. Read
